The most popular anime series right now are probably Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. Some other animes that are a little older but still very popular are Inuyasha, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Code Geass, Dragonball, Dragonball Z and Vampire Knight. If you would like to know about some more good anime, please email me at nickycon2@hotmail.com
It's Naruto Shippuden for sure. Beach is second, and One Piece is third. Naruto Shippuden is ranked as number 4 in manga status though. But as far as popularity goes for anime, it's definitely Naruto Shippuden. Lots and lots of people go online everyday to find new episodes and watch them, and they even watch it on Disney XD. Naruto Shippuden is the number one show on Disney XD (even though it doesn't belong on there). Not to mention EVERYONE knows who Naruto is, even people who don't watch it. It's definitely Naruto Shippuden.
The top 3 are in no particular order but they are the best/famous in the world/Japan Bleach Naruto One Piece
By popularity the number one anime is Death Note, followed by Sword Art Online. By ranking the number one anime is Full metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
