I thought the entire movie was great for both children and adults alike. However, if I had to answer that, I would say the best part of the Wizard of Oz for a 12-year-old would be when the Cowardly Lion is scared so badly by the Wizard's booming voice, that he runs down the corridor and jumps out a window.
