I truly enjoy watching you and Chris Cuomo every night. But, I must say I took big offense about what you said about Drew Brees this evening.

I am a proud military wife of over 20 years and I live in Hampton Roads Area in VA. You may not truly understand the sacrifice military men and woman and their families make. I am not white and I was born and raised in Harlem. I am Puerto Rican and very proud of my Puerto Rican heritage. But, I take great offense on taking the knee to our flag. Our flag represents our country and u are being disrespectful to the flag and everyone who has ever sacrifice for that flag. by taking a knee. No one is saying don’t protest we need to change the law change the judicial and racial inequality’s. And by God take a knee but not against our flag. Do u even comprehend the people you are disrespecting are the ones defending the right For you to take that knee.

You said he needs to be educated but do u think it’s the flag that is doing the killing? You Don’t want anyone to link the looters with the protestors. And insult what they are trying to accomplish. Instead of insulting him maybe you should see his view of respecting the flag. Police brutality and justice inequality has nothing with disrespecting the flag.

I took a knee this weekend and would do so again. But, I will NEVER taking a knee against my flag.
