Agamemnon was fated to come home and walk to his house on a purple rug from his chariot to his house. Then inside he will be killed by his wife who was cheating on his in his absence during the Trilogin war. later his son has a problem because he has to avenge his father and on the other hand cant hurt his mother. So eventually he kills his mom anyway.
