well the average height you grow in a year is 4 inches i was about 5'7" and i grew a full foot in one year.......... i started going through it at 9 years old

It kinda is. It's a world where Alice has grown up(16 maybe?), and while she was away enjoying her 'crazy' life, Wonderland grew up as well. It's technically a spin off from the original story. :)
