On Vancouver Island, which is west of Vancouver, there are the cities of: Victoria, Saanich, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Duncan, Port Alberni, Campbell River, Courtenay, and Port Hardy.
Prince Rupert, BC is another contender for the most western Canadian city.
