An American nurse living and working in Tokyo is exposed to a mysterious supernatural curse, one that locks a person in a powerful rage before claiming their life and spreading to another victim.
A husband found out that his wife had a crush on another man, so he killed his whole family and himself. He drowned his son and the family cat in the bathtub, snapped his wife's neck with his bare hands, and hung himself in the bedroom. Ever since, a curse has gripped the house. Anyone who enters the house, even just for a few minutes, is cursed. They are terrorized for days and finally killed.
The American nurse (Sarah Michelle Gellar's character) is a home health worker. She goes to the house to take care of the mother of the husband and wife who just moved in. She is filling in for the girl who usually works there...who mysteriously disappeared. Soon she is cursed, and spends the rest of the movie trying to break the curse.
Good movie! Also check out the original Japanese version, Ju-On (2002).
The Grudge, but The Grudge 3 is the scariest
The Grudge gender depends on what movie. There is a grudge boy and girl. For example, there is the boy from the grudge from one of the scary movies. And the girl in one of the original ones.
No, the woman from The Grudge (Kayako Saeki is the character's name) is not real. It's a completely fictional story.
Actually, where ever you heard that, its NOT true! Dude, watch the movie before you ask these questions! The GRUDGE is most likely(I think)the BOY's sister. From: WISDOM WISE
The Ju-On/Grudge movies are fictional. The "Grudge house" is not real, in the sense that it is not haunted and the entire story is make-believe. But the house from Ju-On: the Curse and Ju-On: the Grudge is real, in the sense that it is not a movie set; the house actually exists. However, the house in the American remake was a mock-up built on a Tokyo sound stage.
'The Grudge' is a movie, and it isn't buried anywhere.
The Grudge, definitely.
The Grudge is a movie. Movies don't "live" anywhere.
yes grudge 4 will be out in 2011
"The Grudge" is a 2004 horror movie directed by Takashi Shimizu. The movie was an American remake of an earlier Japanese horror movie called "Ju-on: The Grudge". The original movie was also directed by Shimizu.
The house use in the movie The Grudge is a fictional residence.
The Grudge, but The Grudge 3 is the scariest
The name of the character is Kayako Saeki, not "The Grudge" as many people think. Takako Fuji in second movie and first. Aiko horiuchi in the third movie.
The Grudge gender depends on what movie. There is a grudge boy and girl. For example, there is the boy from the grudge from one of the scary movies. And the girl in one of the original ones.
