When "Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine" premiered on January 8, 1985, its original opening title sequence consisted of Hank Parker getting up early in the morning to go fishing at 5:30 AM.
The intro starts off with a clock telling that it's 5:30 AM. He gets out of bed, and walks out of his house with his fishing rod. The next scene shows Parker getting into his truck with a motorboat, and driving off. The next scene shows a medium shot of a motorboat, an exterior shot of the house, a closeup of the answering machine as Parker is heard saying "Hi, this is Hank, sorry i miss your call. Leaving your name and number, I'll get back to you", and a silhouette of Parker fishing, which transforms into a freeze frame shot. On the final shot, the show's logo appears over a silhouette of Parker fishing.
