There are 2 1/4 cups to each (1) pound of granulated sugar. That said, there are 225 cups in a 100lb bag of sugar. (the ratio formula: 1 lb = 2 1/4 cups which is the same as saying 1 lb = 2.25 cups, therefore 100 lb = 225 cups.
