*Edit* The strongest move may be that, but Arceus is a legendary, not a common type Pokemon. For normal Dark type Pokemon, the strongest move would be Night Daze (85 power). It is often confused with Foul Play, but this move does not actually have 95, it's the target's attack stat. So sometimes it varies.

Of the 14 Damage Dealing or Physical Dark moves, the strongest are:

With Power 80

• Crunch, 15PP - Has a 20% chance of lowering target's Defense.
• Dark Pulse, 15PP - Has a 20% chance of making the target flinch.
• Sucker Punch, 5PP - Attacks first. Fails if target is not preparing an attack.

With Power 70

• Night Slash, 15PP - Has a high critical hit ratio.

With Power 60

• Bite, 25PP - Has a 10% chance of making the target flinch.
• Faint Attack, 20PP - Never misses

With Power 50

• Assurance, 10PP - If the target has already taken damage in the same turn, this attack's power is doubled.

All 14 of the Dark Physical moves have 100% accuracy as well, so you'll never miss hitting your opponent.

There also 10 Non-Damage Dealing moves that affect the foe's status, but will not lower their HP.
