Footloose is a lot like the movie...just with songs! Mainly what happens is Ren McCormack moves to Bomont from Chicago and doesn't fit in there. When he lived in Chicago, he was used to going to clubs and dancing. But to his suprise, when he got to Bomont, dancing was against the law. This is because Reverand Moore's son was killed coming back from a dance, so he felt that he should ban dancing so this doesn't happen to any of the other kids living there. Ren doesn't take no for an answer and decides to throw a dance. Obviously, the Reverand and other adults do not agree with this and be able to forget the past and create a new future. The lead roles in this musical are Ren, Ariel, Rusty, Urleen, Wendy Jo, and Willard. The show is fun for everyone and will get everyone on their feet! No matter what role you play you will have the time of your life!!
