Ya think it might have something to do with warning about a hazard on the roadside?
lol
no really! actually they are what you put on to warn other drivers that YOU are a hazard on the roadside due to an accident or breakdown or stationary queueing traffic or any other danger, ie a hazard.
In the UK, hazard lights should be used on single carriageway roads to warn other drivers that your vehicle is a hazard, on a dual carriageway or motorway, they should be used to warn other drivers of any hazard.
Hazard lights should be used if a vehicle is pulled over on the side of the road. If a vehicle is going slow when pulling something behind them, hazard lights should also be used.
try the hazard warning light switch as if this fails the indicators will not operate then if not try the hazard light relay
When using lighting for making films there are two types of lighting that can be used, hot lights and cool lights. Hot Lights are named such because they run at 500-800 watts and are hot. The down side to using these is they can be a fire hazard. However, they are a great source for continuous light. Cool lights are fluorescent and don't get hot. They provide a more natural day light appearance. The run at a much lower wattage.
There are two main types of lights that are typically tube shaped:"neon lights" - these use mixtures of noble gases (e.g. helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon) to produce different colors. These are usually used for advertising signs for businesses.fluorescent lights or UV lights - these use mercury vapor to produce UV light (in fluorescent lights a thin coating of a fluorescent powder transforms the UV light to visible light).
A blown fuse would cause the hazard lights not to work on the 1994 Ford F150. It could also be blown bulbs causing the lights not to work.

if you mean: "why do hazard lights flash when brakes are on", then the answer is because vehicles are equipped with a hazard light relay that supercedes the brake lights. This way, slow moving vehicles can operate under hazard lighting.
Hazard lights may only be used during an emergency where the vehicle requires to be stopped in places it should not normally be stopped, such as a highway. People mistakenly used hazard lights when driving through heavy storms as another form to ensure visibility and is not recommended.
the location of the hazard lights is on top of the steering colum.
Hazard lights should only be used when your car is stopped or coming to a stop. Using them while you are actually still driving can be dangerous. Other drivers will be unable to tell if you are going to change lanes or get off the road because your turn signals or 'blinkers' will not work when your hazard lights are on.
