Even though Pein is seen to be the strongest of the akatsuki at this time , TOBI is actually the strongest from my point of view since everyone in naruto shippuden has explained him like that and also because even the strongest hokage to ever be in power (the fourth) was no match for him , furthermore , Tobi posses the "eternal mangekyo sharingan" and can transport the kyuubi (nine tails fox) anywhere , anytime willingly .

Zetzu is a cannibal plant man that is rarely seen:( he is awesome he pretty much eats whats left of the people the akustiki kill. he is one of the 3 people still alive in the akustiki.

Zetsu didn't die; he can split himself in half and had one half trailing Sasuke on Madara's orders, while the other half acted as a body double for Kisame in an effort to invade the Lightning village.

Is Tobi Obito or Madara Uchiha?
I have to do it in parts because it is too long PART 1) Well, Most of you were correct or close but when you think about it all the signs point to Madara being Obito. When Obito got crushed by the rocks he only got crushed on his left side and he gave his left eye to Kakashi and when you see Tobi stand up, he stands on his right side on a slouch (the side he didnt get crushed on) and on the video and on the manga you didnt actuall see him die you saw him come close to death. Some people say Zetsu got him but i don't see any evidence. I think that Madara used a jutsu or something that fused himself with Obito because Tobi has a hole in his mask where his sharingan is but it doesnt show the other side (the side with no eye) Madara saw this as an oppertunity to have a body and abilities that's why people say Madara cant be Tobi because he would be old that's a reason why he could be fused with Obito. Because he is in a young body..PART 2) On one of the chapters Pain or Tobi say I, HAVE THE POWER, THE POWER OF MADARA. Or something like that. That's why people think that Tobi is Madara but that also gives the clue that Tobi could just have the power and abilities of Madara but in Obitos body because why would Madara Have a hole on only one side of the mask. Here are some reason why it could be Obito:1.) He wears a mask with only a hole on the right side of his face where his only sharingan would be. He doesn't have another eye. His mask is also orange like Obito's googles. 2.) The hair is the same as Obito's. 3.)Madara Uchiha would be hundreds of years old as to you never seeing Obito acually die in the manga. He jusy gets covered by rocks. And his body was never recovered because they were in hostile territory. Also, this is Naruto. If you do not see them acually die, there is always a chance of them coming back. You can say Madara might have done the same things as Orochimaru so that he can live forever, but I highly doubt Uchiha Madara would do those "sick" experiments on his body. Plus he would be about the age or at least stature as Obito. 4.)When you see him stand a couple of times, he stands as if the right side of him body is disfigured. Also, every part of his body is covered so you cannot see if there are any disfigurments or not. 5.) Tobi only claims that he has Madara's power, not that he is Madara, (even though Pein calls him Madara in Chapter 384, but he might just not know Tobi's true identity. That is probably why he wears a mask). 6.) The name Tobi resembles Obito. (And Tobi is a pretty out of place name when most all of the other names are Japanese). 7.) He acts relaxed in the same manner as Obito did. 8.) Obito thinks to himself that he wishes that he could have spent more time with them, which is like a sign that a character is coming back. Also if you rearrange OBITO and switch the OB and the TO back to front, You get Tobi. And if you fuse all them ideas and put thme with the fact of madara reviving OBito from the rocks and having a body instead of being old and all the things ive previously said it all comes together and pints to MADARA+OBITO=TOBI. Hope this clears things up. =)
