In India ages ago Muslims and hindus were always fighting and stuff coz they didn't agree with each other. So Guru Nanak Dev Ji created a peaceful religion, which was Sikhism. Sikhism got many followers because the concepts of the religion were very universal. This religion does not branch off of any other religion. Sikhi came from Sikhi. It wasnt influenced by any other religion.
The Holy book of 'Sikhism' is known as 'Guru granth saheba' and is written in
