Tom and Jerry now-a-days stop airing more episodes, because the the owners of the studio almost ran out of ideas for series and episodes, however Tom and Jerry is an old show. It's been played on Cartoon Network to get more people to like it again, and it worked which means lots people like Tom and Jerry.
It's is one of the popularist animated Cartoons like SpongeBob Squarepants, Pokemon Indigo League, Batman Animated Series , Pink Panther, Fairly Odd Parents, ChalkZone, Hey Arnold, Doug, and Pinky and the Brain.

that cartoon teaches you many stuff like
1- the smart one always wins even if he is small or weak
2- the cartoon teaches kids and teens and even adults about peace becuz back then when it was made there was like lots and lots of wars so that's why they wanted to teach the world PEACE in a "cartoony way"
