Just like there were many religions before the codification of the Old Testament of The Bible, there were and still are many religions being formed post the New Testament was completed in circa 95-100 AD. One many will be familiar with today is 'Islam' which was created in the 7th Century AD.
Almost all the major religions came from India... * Hinduism *Buddhisim *Jainisim *Even Christianity It can be easily said that no religion worth the name came from the western world. But which religion did not have its roots in India is a very difficult question to answer.
That question is rather vague. If you are comparing to works other than the bible. None come close. The bible says that we cannot earn our salvation, Jesus is the only one that can forgive us because of his death, burial and resurrection. Other religions have rules that you have to follow to earn your way to whatever reward said religion has. Those religions also do not promise your salvation either, they make you follow rules and if you do not keep them, you go to whatever punishment it has. In the bible Jesus says that nothing can separate us from God and his salvation that he provides for us. We have to repent and put our faith in Christ for eternal life, once that is done, we are eternally secure.
We recognize all religions. Lutheranism is the most common.
Languages are spoken. Religions are practiced.
Divine inspiration means that everything in the Bible was inspired by God. God came over the Biblical writers and helped them produce the text of the Bible. Biblical inerrancy stems from this. It is the belief that because the Bible is divinely inspired, it cannot be incorrect. However, where this gets a bit confusing is that the Bible (depending on your personal faith tradition) contains rules and some stories that now are not included in canon law. For example, many Christians do not follow the laws laid out for the Jewish people in the Pentateuch, yet they are still in the Christian Bible.
The Bible influenced the three religions of Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Christianity
The bible is a very vastly read book , and is also respected by other religions , and they to reaspect the bible.
Judaism and Christianity, the two religions that are actually from God.
The bible came first as the Koran came later as did the prophet Mohamed.
Christianity.
Many religions don't believe in the Bible.
Judaism and Christianity.
The Tanach (Jewish Bible) includes the Jewish prophets, it does not include the prophets of other religions.
The bible is important to it's followers because it shows them the way, as do other religions.
Christianity- The bible Islam- The Koran Judaism- The Hebrew bible (first testament of the christian bible)
