On the season finale of season 5. Season 6 picks up on his and brennans return home.
Yes because Booth will realize that he is not as happy as it may seem with Hannah so she goes back to Brennan.
Season 5 finale"The Beginning in the End"
You can expect more sexual tension and grizzly murders, but also after Booth's brain tumor, Booth's brain thinks it loves Dr. Brennan and so Booth has to tell her and rumours in episode 18 that happens.
John Wilkes Booth was among the finest actors of his day. He was a vain, self-assured person. He had a magnetic personality and a gift for words. He performed his plays in front of Union solders and Southern solders. He was well connected and was even a guest at Lincoln's second inauguration. Unknown to most Americans, he was a secret agent for the Confederacy. He was the original 007. General Stonewall Jackson said Booth was a weapon deadly as cannon fire. His last act as a secret agent was the killing of Abraham Lincoln. Booth then escaped to Mexico and at a later date move back into the US. I have been asked to make changes to this answer because it is not accepted history. I have checked each line and there are no corrections needed. It is factual as I know it. The history books are wrong and full of misinformation. You will not find truth in accepted history.
In The Wannabe in the Weeds, Booth gets shot. Everyone thinks he is dead, though he isn't really. The funeral is in the next episode, which I believe is The Pain In the Heart (also the episode they find out that Zach is Gormogon's assistant). These two episodes are in season three.

Season 5 finale"The Beginning in the End"
David Booth got two concussions during the 2009-2010 regular season. he was out for about two months before coming back to play for the Panthers. Booth suffered another concussion when the Panthers played Montreal late in the season. Booth then didn't play the rest of the season (5-7 games). Brad Richards caused the first concussion by hitting Booth in the head in the process of a body check. Booth got hit in the head and lay still on the ice. Motionless.
