London was a very filthy place to live in in the 1500s. There was urine every where. The streets where so smelly people carried Oranges to keep the smell away. There were a lot of animal parts on the floor. Plus people treated the streets like the sewers and threw their waste on the street. The families were rather large. More infants died then lived because of the disease going around such as the plague even sometimes flu (influenza) killed people. They also threw a lot of junk in to the river.
Brenda Song plays London on the Suite life on Deck.
Richie Rich, because in one of the suite life on deck episodes, it shows how there are people richer than London, so Richie is richer.

London was still very small in 1500. During the medieval period London grew up in two different parts. The nearby up-river town of Westminster was the Royal capital and centre of government, whereas the City of London was the centre of commerce and trade. The area between them did not become entirely urbanised until 1600. Life in London must have been similar to life throught England in its other towns. The Related Link gives more details of the History of London.
the port of London grew rapidly in the 1500's because of changes in patterns of world settlement and trade. :)
