Groucho had a lot of wonderful lines, but his most famous is almost certainly from the Marx Brothers' second film, "Animal Crackers", where Groucho plays the famous African explorer, Captain Spalding. In describing his adventures in the jungle, Groucho/Spalding says: "I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I'll never know!"
