So, everyone who had a business usually lived near the center of the city where offices, stores, and entertainment was located. It will be many more years before the urban revolution will start.

city life offerd oppoutunities in jobs because of the number of factories popping up. But there were many down sides to America. Garbage, pollution, fire, disease, thieves,traffic, low wages, and lack of Plumbing and heating.
