In 1943, the strength of the Allied forces was bolstered by significant contributions from the U.S., UK, and Soviet Union, as they began coordinated offensives against Axis powers. By 1944, the strength of the Allies had increased further with the successful landings in Normandy (D-Day) and more effective logistics and supply chains, allowing for larger and better-equipped forces. Additionally, the Soviet Union's military strength had grown substantially, leading to major offensives on the Eastern Front. Overall, the years saw a marked increase in troop numbers, equipment, and strategic coordination among the Allies.

1c 1943 is the expensive one $10,000- $85,000 This is incorrect! The 1943 steel cents were the common ones for the one year. During the changeover from the steel planchets of 1943 to the shell-case brass planchets for 1944, a few of the 1943 steel planchets were accidently stamped with the 1944 date. There were about 27 P 1944 steel cents authenticated, about 7 or 8 Denver 1944 cents and 1 or 2 San Francisco mint coins authenticated.
