Premiering on January 6 1975 the daytime show continued after Merv Griffin syndicated the Nighttime Wheel of Fortune show until on September 20 1991 the Daytime show was cancelled. The syndicated Nighttime version of Wheel of Fortune first aired on September 19 1983 and has just finished the 27 season.
