Hera urged him to challenge him with 12 tasks called the "2 labors of hercules". she hoped he would be killed pursuing them. during the ninth labor Hercules was charged with taking the Amazon queen Hippotyle belt to give it to Eurystheus's daughter. the queen willing gave Hercules her belt but sadly for him Hera didn't like the fact that it would be so easy. she convinced Hippotyles forces that Hercules was trying to abduct the queen. Hercules believing that Hippotyle was responsible for the following attack killed her. after the 12 tasks when he went to sea to continue his adventures Hera sent huge storms to try to wreck the boat. later he did attempt to smooth things with Hera and sacrificed goats to her. unfortunately her anger only cooled when he died. ironically enough he then married Hera's daughter Hebe at Olyumpus. basikally he disliked her because she was always trying to kill him.
