Walt Disney created some of the most popular animated characters, the first full length animated feature (Snow White), a few war Propaganda films, some documentaries, the Mickey Mouse club. In 1955 he opened Disneyland in California the first big modern theme park, and many attractions for the worlds fair in 1964 world's fair. He died when Disney World in Florida was in its planning stages, but left a legacy including Tokyo disneyland, disneyland paris, Hong Kong, and shanghai (opening soon). Without him most modern theme parks probably wouldn't exist.
