"O--Ee--Yah! Eoh--Ah!", although some claim they are saying: "All we own, we owe."

The big black prisoner they so cared for is released secretly accompanied by guards because of his healing powers so he can heal the Warden's wife (I suspect she has cancer or a mental disorder of sorts) and does. Then he has to come back to prison and is electrocuted much to the digust of the Warden and guards who have grown to love him. They know he has special powers, is innocent of killing the two little white girls (was trying to heal them when he found them) and know that a special person's life was taken away from them. Near the end the black prisoner said words to the effect he was losing his healing powers because his spirit was weary and didn't fear death because he knew he was innocent. The prison guards knew things would never be the same again. Oh yes, the prison guard that was cruel ended up with a white jacket strapped around him. Nice ending as far as I was concerned. LOL Great movie!
Listen to the Mocking Bird by Alice Hawthorne (1855) I'm dreaming now of Hally, sweet Hally, sweet Hally; I'm dreaming now of Hally, For the thought of her is one that never dies: She's sleeping in the valley, the valley, the valley; She's sleeping in the valley, And the mocking bird singing where she lies. Chorus: Listen to the mocking bird, listen to the mocking bird, The mocking bird still singing o'er her grave; Listen to the mocking bird, listen to the mocking bird, Still singing where the weeping willows wave. Additional Verses: Ah! well I yet remember, remember, remember, Ah! well I yet remember, When we gather'd in the cotton side by side; 'Twas in the mild September, September, September, 'Twas in the mild September, And the mocking bird was singing far and wide. When the charms of spring awaken, awaken, awaken: When the charms of spring awaken, And the mocking bird is singing on the bough. I feel like one forsaken, forsaken, forsaken. I feel like one so forsaken, Since my Hally is no longer with me now. Chorus:
Ophelia goes mad, and in her madness she is brought to the Queen where she begins singing songs that appear to be senseless. However, if you consider her words carefully, you will notice that she is revealing some secrets of her story. We learn what went on between her and Hamlet and that she had lain with him. If you go over Act IV, scene v , you will see what I mean.
When I get to heaven, gonna spread the news. gonna walk around in my golden shoes. When I get to heaven gonna sing and shout. Ain't nobody there, gonna put me out. They tell me that the gates, the streets are paved with gold. they tell me that the half, The half has never been told!

While there are several different types of singing without words, a common one is called scat singing. This type started in jazz and has transcended to many different genres.
what is the sentence.... both words are not fake words
This has been debated. Some say they sing "All we owe, the old one", the "old one" referring to the Wicked Witch of the West. However, it is most likey they are singing "Oh ee oh, ee oh um", as "The Wizard of Oz" features several nonsense words in many of the songs. E. Y. Harburg, the film's lyricist, focused more on rhyming and making words fit in the rhythm rather than finding meaning in the words.
Singing emerged when cave men found they could communicate when they grunted and this turned into words. Singing emerged when cave men found they could communicate when they grunted and this turned into words.
When someone uses their voice to communicate words instead of singing them, it is called speaking.
The poetic device is repetition, repeating the same words for emphasis.
