Most of the words that did not exist 20 years ago deal with cell phone and computer use. In 1984 the first cell phones were sold to the public so the words like cell tower, aps, texting, pic, smartphone, DROID, Iphone, were not in use. In 1988 the internet became available to the public so words that came with that also came into use. Data, chat, internet, microsoft, mouse, keyboard, search engine, software, hardware are the types of words that were made up or changed in meanings.
