Rumor has it that Ginny goes with Harry to the Room of Requirement and tells him to close his eyes while she hides his Potions book. Then she kisses him and runs off. I have no idea why they changed it; the original would have made a much better scene. It's unclear that H/G even become a couple in the film at all.
