Mandy will be replaced by Teal Wicks on Februrary 1, 2011. Mandy's last performance will be on January 30th. Teal Wicks has played Elphaba in the Loas Angeles production of Wicked and the San Francisco production. This will be her first time on broadway. She was chosen as the "Favorite Elphaba" among all of the actresses who have played the role in an online poll with over 65,000 voters. She has performed the role over 500 times in two years. Teal is amazinggg in my opinion so trust me the role will be in good hands! I have had the privilege of seeing Mandy and i already have my tix to see Teal!
