Where can you catch carvanha in Pokemon platinum i know is in pastoria great marsh with a super rod but there ain't any river or anything that you can use a rod on?

There are small ponds scattered around the marsh, you won't find it before the national dex or in the swampy areas. One pond is easy to find, once you enter the marsh take your first right and then walk through the swamp as far as you can go and then go up. There will be a pond where you can find it along with gyrados and whishcash.
