You can't find hitmontop, but you can get chingling, its younger evolution. Chingling is found west of the city where you give Cynthia's grandmother her Old Charm and where you receive the HM Surf.

∙ 13y agoReceive the Tyrogue from the Karate King in Mt. Mortar after defeating him and level it up with equal attack and defense to level 20. The attack and defense stats must be exactly equal to each other when it reaches level 20. Or, you can breed a Tyrogue and level it up that way, or transfer it or a Hitmontop from FireRed/LeafGreen or Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum versions.

∙ 13y agoThe way I got one is I transfered over a Hitmonlee and stuck it in the daycare with a ditto and waited for an egg. The egg hatched into a tyrouge, and I was careful to level it up to lv.30 with an equal Attack and Defence. That's how you get one. ; )

∙ 12y agoIn order to get a Hitmonlee in SoulSilver, you'll first need to find the Karate Master in Mt. Mortar. After beating him in a battle, he'll give you a Tyrogue. Tyrogue will evolve at Level 20 and provided its Attack stat is higher than its Defense stat then it will evolve into a Hitmonlee.

if you want hitmonlee, make sure its attack is higher than its defense

∙ 14y agoIn Mt. Mortar, find the Dojo Master and beat him to get a tyrogue evolve it how you wish. You can only get one of the Hitmons in the game. trade for the rest
