Sadly, no real comic books or strips were done on the subject, which is a natural for a long-running comic-strip of the adventure variety! I am speaking of the recent Fox animated film of l997. I seem to recall one newspaper did a sort of run-up comic strip as a preview to Anastasia but abruptly cut it off once the movie was available. Don"t bet on it , but possibly the Newark Star-Ledger. characters and plots related to Anastasia have a long past history in the comics-and elsewhere. Shady Lane in the comic strip Brick Bradford was pretty obviously Stacy Romanov!
