Where can you find the upgrade in Pokemon Platinum?

After you get the National Dex and meet Professor Oak at Pal Park, go to Eterna City and talk to Oak in the house on the south-west corner. He should give you the Up-Grade.

There is only one Up-Grade in the game, so don't lose it!

Up GradeThe Up-Grades only use is to evolve Porygon into Porygon2.

If I remember correctly, go to the Sevii Isles (need Rainbow Pass first). On Isle 5, go east and then south. Eventually you shall encounter a building (everyone in the main area of 5 island complains about it being there). A password is needed...you get it on Isle 6 from a scientist at the dotted hole. After beating the rockets and getting the Sapphire inside, I think one of the scientists gives you the upgrade as a result of batlle or something. Try that and see if it helps.

After you get the National Dex, find Prof. Oak at Pal Park. Then go to Eterna City, and meet him again in the house in the Southwest corner of town. He should give you an Up Grade.
