What city in Canada has the highest elevation?

I live in Banff. It has the highest city/town elevation in Canada at approx. 4,700 ft ASL. Although one of the highest landmarks are nearby in Kananaskis Country with Highway 40 at approx. 7,000 ft ASL. The highest point on the Trans Canada highway is halfway between Calgary and Banff at approx. 4,600 ft. ASL. whoever answered this do you know the cities with the highest elelvation in latin america? Whoever answered this is also giving incorrect information.. the highest point on the TransCanada AS STATED on the transcanada website is in Kicking horse Pass (BC / Aberta Border) being 1643m where as what THIS above person stated is only 1410m. So as usual, someones 'bull' crap mis-informs the 'learning'

What is the most dangerous highway in Canada?

There are many. Which is most dangerous depends on how you measure it. Alberta has the #63. A two lane road supplying Canada's oil industry. Most of Canada would be shocked at the volume of traffic and the condition of the road combined with the wealth that travels it. Deaths average about a dozen a year over the last few years for a town of less than 100,000. Part of the problem is the mix of drivers. Many are so intimidated they will not pull over for three wide passes and many head on's result. A recent one killing 7 in one crash. Another part of the reason is funding. Western Canada has to build it's own roads, rarely getting the 1/3rd funding common elsewhere. The attitude that Western Canada should pay into Confederation but not get the same services other regions do will become obvious with this list. It is why the #1 and #16 TransCanada Highways are also dangerous. Though they are TransCanada highways and this is the 21st century they have yet to be twinned. The section on the #1 around Golden has been upgraded with some twinning and more passing sections it still has old sections and they are dangerous. The #1 around Rogers Pass is well known to be very dangerous. This section has many truck crashes and is all to often closed to any traffic. As is the section around Banff. It isn't just Alberta and BC with problem roads. Saskatchewan's highway #11 is very risky. Several people a year are killed there. The TransCanada #1 in Manitoba is often closed due to serious crashes and weather. It is twinned but little money has been spent on addressing the wind and snow. Next time you drive through there look at the snow fence being used, yep that 6' portable orange plastic fence is all they can afford. Manitoba has a highway 11 which is easily the most dangerous by many measures. The section to Traverse Bay I have personally avoided. And for good reason. It has managed to kill a person for every 10kms of road in 2009, other years also show the result of poor design and funding. The roads in the territories are so bad it has resulted in a TV series called Ice Road Truckers. The show has some hype but those roads really are that dangerous. There is no doubt the worst roads in Canada are in the West and North and as I mentioned Canadian funding practices are clearly a major part of the problem but Eastern Canada has some poor roads as well. Most notably would be roads around Toronto, 401 in particular, and highway 103 in Nova Scotia.
