Don't know where you can get bilberry extract in India sorry.
However, you could certainly try mulberry extract from black mulberries as they grow in India so you should have no problem getting hold of the extract. Black mulberry has the dark pigments [anthocyanins] that bilberries and some other dark berries [e.g. blueberries] have. Thus if you could not find bilberry extract but you can find black mulbery extract and blueberry extract you could try those instead.
You should also eat plenty of red, orange, yellow and green vegetables and fruits rich in carotinoids [particularly lutein and zeaxanthin] and also vitamin A, such as.......bell peppers, carrots, apricots, cantaloupe melon, mango, broccoli, spinach, curly kale, swiss chard, collard, peas, corn, etc. Egg yolks, particularly from corn fed hens, may be a particularly good [bioavailable] source of lutein. Eat also tomatoes rich in lycopene. And eat pumpkin seeds rich in zinc.
Stay awake from cigarettes and other forms of pollution.....they are bad for the eyes. And more pollution = more antioxidants needed, generally speaking. Wear UV protective sunglasses when you go out in strong sun.
It might also be worth taking coQ10 as a supplement.
Ginkgo biloba might also help if there is poor circulation to the eyes. But check with a doctor or pharmacist first before taking this if you are on any prescribed medications or have any underlying medical condition.
Keep regular eye checks and keep up to date with your prescription. Try not to strain your eyes....wear your glasses at all times when you need to, and don't use the computer for too long or watch too much TV without taking regular breaks. You should see an eye specialist if you haven't already done so if you are having any specific problems or concerns.
