You don't need a red chain. You only need the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs. After you catch Giratina, get the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs, they are in the same room. To get to that room, follow the path to Spear Pillar, but instead of turning left at a place you do rock cilmb in the snow, turn right into the door there, and (you must have surf AND waterfall) use surf then water there, and go into the little room. You will find two pokeballs there, separated by a rock and spaced out. Get both of them, then get out and continue going up to the Spear Pillar. make sure you have enough room in your party for dialga, palkia and giritina
