in victory road or the way to it there are the strongest Pokemon and a word of advice try to capure giratina and try training luxray near the water in victory road.
It is not possible to answer the question without knowing the move sets.
Find places where your pokemon have an advantage over them
Three of your pokémon are weak to Ground, you should try to fix that.
if there levels are at least 65, pretty good[have you caught giratina, dialga, and palkia yet?]
Can a level 72 torterra 55 garchomp, 56 Palkia, 61 Lucario a 52 Bastiodon and level 57 Rapidash beat the Elite 4? Im training all the level 60 under Pokemon to 58 or something near that.. Also, I can get up to Flint and sometimes Lucian without using any potions with only a couple of Pokemon fainting. -- GM_Nintendo
Houndoom , Roserade , Garchomp , Empoleon , Luxray , Staraptor is a very good team , it just depends what moves they have , How good there stats are What level they are.Other wise , it's a very good team for Pokemon Platinum. Here's a suggestion: Gallade , Empoleon , Garchomp , Frostlass , Crobat , Gliscor.
Empoleon,Rapidash,Luxray,Staraptor,Lucario,Garchomp.
Speedy-torterra Volar- Staraptor Sparky- Luxray Linds- Garchomp Nami- Vaporeon Gerry- Houndoom

if high lvl and good moves the they should be fantastic
It will be a tie between houndoom and Luxray but my choice (since I raised a luxray To lv100) I think it is luxray Best move discharge
I know that Darach uses: Empoleon Staraptor And I think a Houndoom, if I'm wrong then I'm sorry but I forgot the last one
i say empoleon
Choose Infernape , Empoleon , Torterra , Glaceon , Honchcrow and Garchomp
it depends on levels
I have a Gyarados, A Jirachi (I got it from a legitimate Pokemon event), A Staraptor, An Empoleon, A Garchomp, and a Crobat. they should hold useful certain items & with good, competitive moves & you should be strategic too :))
