That's because the file is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. Anime is flash-formatted and can't be used in Windows Movie Maker unless converted first.
Load your Windows Movie Maker and start importing clips/videos.
If the anime is using the format MKV it is probably not able to encode it, in other words, the format is unsupported.
Anime videos (amvs) are not compatible formats for Windows Movie Maker. The best material you could use for amvs would be RAWs (Original Japanese Audio/Videos). RAWs usually have the best quality, don't have any subtitles to get in the way, and are in a format that Windows Movie Maker can handle (.avi).The only place that you can reliably get RAWs at though is via bittorrent.
maybe an Apple computer, because they have a movie editing thing that might be better than a PC's windows movie maker.
The Anime episode has to be in a video format compatible with Windows Movie Maker before it can be imported into the program:.asf, .avi, .dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvCheck the Anime file name extension (format) by right-clicking the file and choosing Properties from the drop-down menu. Is the format one of those listed above??If it is not, then it will need to be converted to a format compatible with the program.
Go on paint and draw everything that you need for the transformation, like the persons legs, everything like that. Then go on windows movie maker and add all of your pictures that you have drawn on paint. That is how you make an anime transformation!
After choosing the anime/anime(pl), you need to find lots of pictures (try Google Images or PhotoBucket). You will also need a song that is related to your chosen anime, which you will need to already have or download from the internet (try iTunes or JapanFiles). Using a program such as Windows Movie Maker, insert the pictures and the length of time the show on the screen to play during the song. Just play around and you'll get it soon enough. Good luck!
go to google and type in : download sonic movies
If you have Windows Movie Maker, you can use that to animate the images. You just have to scan your drawings and edit them on a photoshop-like program to clean it up, and also use it to make any character move. Mainly, you can treat the images like a stop motion picture on Windows Movie Maker to make your anime. If you don't have Adobe photoshop to help edit the pictures for your anime, you can try a program called GIMP or Paint.net. Those programs are free to use for editing pictures. I personally use Paint.Net because it is similar to Photoshop. You can get the program here on: www.Paint.net. Hopefully this was helpful.
IF you have paint on your computer you can draw on that then save the picture you NEED windows movie maker if you do then you put the picture in there and you keep doing that until you've reached the end of the series (Or you just get lazy).
