Cinematography is the aesthetics of a motion picture film - it's what you see with the eye.Some of my favorite examples of beautiful cinematography can be seen in such films as: Atonement (2007), In the Mood for Love (2000), A Woman is a Woman (1961), Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959), 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968), Amelie (2001), and The Tree of Life (2011).
