No disrespect to blonde pigtailed vikings but the first people to come to Canada were a few thousand years earlier. Mind you they had to wait for the kilometer of ice to melt and the land to get some soil to support some plants and animals to eat but they were there to meet, and kill, the Vikings.
For me that the only thing i know is that the first people that came to Canada is more than 20years ago also i know that you answer coud be about thousand years ago.
The first people came to Arctic ( North of Canada ) first than some of them want to move and some of them want to stay so that is why you see people all over Canada.
