The Iroquois sided with the British for the French and Indian War. The British paid the Iroquois to kill Americans that crossed over the Appalachian Mountains. The Algonquin Indians sided with the French. The Algonquin also had fought against Americans in the colonies. The British had a superior army and the Iroquois were a more united group of native Americans
Yes they did! The French traded with many tribes such as the Iroquois and Algonquins. They received objects such as fur, tobacco etc.
The French later converted the Algonquins to Catholicism.
The Hurons and the Algonquians, are two of the most heard of. However, there were other tribes involved as well.
native Americans didn't have great relationship cause they always fight between them

In the French and Indian War, Britain fought the French. The Algonquians (who feared British expansion into the Ohio Valley) and the Mohawks allied with the French. The rest of the Iroquois Nation allied with the British. The colonies fought under British commanders. Generally, the war was between Britain and French. Specifically, the war was the French, the Algonquian Indians, and the Mohawks VS. the British, the rest of the Iroquois Nation, and some British-American colonies.
The French and Indian War was a war that occurred alongside the Seven Years' War in Europe. It began in 1754 and ended in 1763. The British and American colonists fought against the French presence in the Ohio River Valley, and Native American tribes allied variously with the two sides. The conflict in the colonies began as settlers moved farther into the Ohio Valley, and met with opposition from the resident French trappers and Indians. Britain sent support to the colonies, but the colonial militias did most of the fighting.
The Indians mostly resented the expansion of the British/Americans into their lands, so most fought on the side of the French. Some tribes, however, had been misused by the French Canadians and fought on the British side. A tribe allied with the British may have initially started the conflict by provoking a battle between French forces and George Washington's Virginia troops at Fort Necessity in southwest Pennsylvania.
The French had just gotten beat in the French and Indian War by England. This meant that they had to give up all their land claims in the New World. So, the French hated the British and wanted them to be beaten.
During WWI, the Supreme Commander of Allied Force was Ferdinand Foch. He was a French Marshall and given this new command in 1918.

Yes. During the French-Indian War, French forces armed allied Indian tribes with guns to conduct guerrilla assaults against the British and the Colonists. Before the French-Indian War, the French, British and Spanish traded guns with the Indians in exchange for Indian knowledge and resources.
the french and Indian war... this pinned the french colonies and their native American allies against the British colonies and their native American allies... this war was more or less an extension of The Seven Years War which was fought across the Old World
The French
The French trappers and traders that they had dealt with had treated them with honor, fairness and dignity. This had not been the case with the early British colonists who were more inclined to "shoot first and ask questions later."
The name French and Indian War refers to the two main enemies of the British; the royal French forces and the various Native American forces allied with them. The conflict resulted in the British conquest of Canada.
Some Native American groups were allied with Europeans (mostly the French or British), where they fought in numerous wars. Others were just friendly towards the Europeans and traded with them.
The native Amerindian tribes had only the few firearms supplied by early colonists, and mostly used traditional weapons such as bows and arrows, spears, axes, and tomahawks. The full-scale arming and training of Native Americans began around the French and Indian War (1754-1763), as both the French and British supplied weapons to their allied tribes. The arms mostly consisted of muskets and flintlocks.
FRance
The French and Indian war was actually a conflict between France and Britain. Both countries wanted to establish a stronger power in the 'New World', specifically in the area of the Ohio Territories. Native American Indians allied with the British in the conflict, which is how the name came to be.
The French colonies were less of a threat than British colonizers. The French had mostly small outposts of trappers and traders. The British colonies had exploded in population since their establishment and were clearly looking to expand into lands that the Native Americans currently occupied. The style of British colonies did not have any place for Native Americans. This was clear when the British commander in charge of fighting the French, General Braddock, was asked by Shingas (a local leader of the Delaware Indians) whether the tribes who allied with Britain would be allowed to live and trade with the English and have land of their own. General Braddock replied that "No Savage Should Inherit the Land"
