Why did bill compton go out with Sookie stackhouse?
Sookie and Bill didn't break up, in fact they are technically engaged (they would have made it official but Bill was kidnapped). They haven't broken up YET permanently. If the show stays true to the books they should be over this season (3), and it will be when Sookie learns Bill was sent to Bon Temps by the Queen Sophie Ann for the distinct purpose of investigating Sookie. In the books, Bill and Sookie are permanantly broken up because Bill was unfaithful to Sookie by sleeping with Lorena his former lover, and maker.

In both the books and TV show, Bill and Sookie permantly broke up as of Book 3 'Club Dead' and as far as the show, I'm pretty sure if they still going by the book, that will be the same. But they broke up because Bill went back to his former lover and maker, and had sex, Bill had planned to pension Sookie off and stay with Lorena, and Sookie began to hate him for that. So they broke up. Personally, I think Eric and Sookie are just PERFECT for each other. Eric is just amazing. And like I said, if they make a True Blood season for every True Blood book, and stick by the book then in the end, Sookie and Eric will be married.

In dead in the family what happens?
Sookie Stackhouse has finally settled into a relationship with the Viking vampire Eric, and her errant brother Jason seems to have his life in order, too. Bill later says he still loves her, but then Eric the cute all powerfull vampire one day is found running naked in the street when Sookie was driving home at night on the way to work. Eric dosent remember any thing he didnt even know his name so Sook ie takes in the vampire and tells Eric all about his past. But when Eric remembers every thing Sookie dosent love Eric any more then she started dating John Quinn. Quinn was super cute big a weretigger very famous but puts his crazy mom before Sookie and Sookie wants to be first so she broke up with him then later on startes dating Eric again. Then there is some evil faires trying to get Sookie but Eric and Bill pretect her. It sounds like a lot but it is truly interest ing you should read the books.

Alexander's character 'Eric Northman' is in all ten of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, and Alexander himself has never mentioned leaving the show, so no! The show often doesn't follow the books, though. So if his contract is up and he wants out, they better offer a hell of a lot of money! Most of the female audience only watches for him, Alcide, and then Bill.

APPARENTLY, Sookie gets married to Eric in the 8th book (From Dead to Worse), which i haven't read yet, I am only on the 6th one. But in the one I'm on now, she and Bill are no longer together, but she also isn't with Eric either. But i have heard that it is in fact Eric she gets with in the end. - That is unless they split up in the 10th one that isn't out yet - .
