US currency is produced at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), which has facilities in Washington, D.C., and Fort Worth, Texas. The BEP is responsible for designing and printing Federal Reserve Notes, commonly known as paper money. Additionally, coins are produced by the United States Mint, which operates several facilities across the country.
Ghana's currency, the Ghanaian Cedi, is printed by the Ghanaian Security Printing and Minting Corporation (SPMC). The SPMC is responsible for printing banknotes and minting coins for circulation in Ghana.

The US Treasury.Specifically, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing makes paper money, while the US Mint makes coins. The two departments are completely separate.
The United States Department of the Treasury is responsible for currency production. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing within the Treasury produces the currency and the United States Mint produces the coins.

The Treasury Department in Washington D.C. oversees the production of coins and currency in the USA. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is responsible for the actual production of US currency.
The BEP prints US currency as well as some other high-security government documents. They also advise other departments on printing matters where security is needed. Until recently, the BEP also printed postage stamps for the USPS, but it has been contracted out to private companies. Note that the BEP doesn't make coins; the US Mint does that. Many people get the two agencies confused but they're in fact completely separate branches of the Treasury.
