Democracy cannot exist without freedom, of the individual. Articles 19-22 of India's Constitution guarantees the right to freedom. The right to freedom is not only a right but also a group of many rights . Our constitution guarantees six kind of freedom. They are as under: 1. Freedom to speech and expression. 2. Freedom to assemble peacefully and without arms. 3. Freedom to form associations and unions. 4. Freedom to reside and settle in any part of the country. 5. Freedom to move freely throughout the territory of India. 6. Freedom to practice any profession and carry on any occupation, trade or business.
