no one believed alison when she tried saying she was the real alison since they all thought she was Courtney so they took her to the mental hospital thinking she was Courtney

alison came back from the hospital to visit on the day the girls had the sleep over

when Courtney left the barn after her argument with Spencer, alison got her and killed her for revenge after Courtney took over her life.

so basically the person who was killed was actually Courtney and alison killed her.

Allison isn't really dead.the body they found was Courtney's, allisons twin sister. Courtney had a mental illness & she had Allison sent to the psycho ward. the night at the barn, when the girls were passed out from drinking; Courtney left and ran into Allison. Allison was furious on what Courtney did & pushed her down a ditch & buried her alive.
Well...the real Allison isn't actually dead!! her sister Courtney was pretending to be her so Allison killed her!!! the police uncovered Courtney's body and Allison is alive stalking the other girls (aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer) and taunting them as she is -A. Ian is trying to frame Spencer.

Alison was not truly killed, she was buried alive and Carla Grunwald pulled her out of the ground. When she took Alison to the hospital, Ali ran away and Mona found her walking on the side of the road. Mona took her to a Motel and told her to pretend that she was dead because Mona wanted Ali gone, since she was Aat the time.

Alison did not kill Ian because if it were Alison then she would have been wearing a redcoat. So it might have been either Wilden, Melissa, Garrett, Jenna, or Toby. The only one it really could have been was Toby to protect Spencer.
