I have been in the interactive media biz for over 10 years now, and most of my clients, and colleagues choose Quantcast over Alexa for unique monthly numbers... Even though both services are third party, and don't really give the most accurate data. Quntcast seems to be the closest to what my in house reporting provides... ----- Many people quote the inaccuracies of Alexa Data (see link below). Quantcast is newer and hasn't been under the same magnifying glass as Alexa thus far.
Quantcast says that wiki.answers.com is a giant destination that reaches over 24 million monthly uniques, of which 16 million (68%) are in the U.S.
Quantcast uses pixel data if you are quantified. Compete and comScore offer competing products as well.
Most sites don't rank WikiAnswers separately... it is measured as part of the group of sites that make up Answers.com. However, WikiAnswers is the biggest part of that, so the Answers.com numbers should be fairly representative. Quantcast usually scores us 11 or 12 (as of summer 2012), but to see the most recent ranking, please use the related link below to the Quantcast ranking page.
