Robert Bonham (July 16, 1805 - c. 1857) escaped by hiding in the sacristy until the fighting was over. When night fell, he sneaked out one of the unguarded holes in the wall and managed to untie one of the soldier's horses and walk it far enough out of town to gallop away without being heard. He testified to the complete rout of the Alamo and the behavior of the soldiers on both sides.
I don't know about gag rules- but one episode of the Modern ( including the Chipettes) chipmunks is not only freighted with fright but has overtones of sacrilege. It has the harmless sounding title ( Wooly Bully)- The group- the males anyhow- are captured by a head-hunter tribe somewhere in South America, and are tied to trees- cruciform fashion! the Camera angles too obviously suggest Calvary! This is sacrilegious. Of course the Girls come out of nowhere and with rope tricks, untie and rescue the Chipmunks.
HE CAME TO EARTH IN A PAD (SPACE-POD), depending on the comic your reading, HE LANDED IN AMERICA OR RUSSIA He was adopted by simple townsfolk who teach him the important human values - most importantly - the importance of helping others. He then discovered a whole range of different powers at his disposal. SUPER STRENGTH Invulnerability Heat Vision Ice Breath Distance Vision Micro-Vision Ability to Fly X-Ray Vision and a whole host of other abilities such as brain power, magic S and telepathy. He is hurt by Kryptonite (or he loses his power when near it) Superman has never actually done anything except infiltrate the hearts and minds of all those still young at heart. He is a symbol of hope and personifies the ideals on selflessness. He is also a loner in a world where no one knows who he really is. He has fought baddies and protected goodies for a very long time.
She says: "Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, Bringing torment and pain to others, Oh damned soul wallowing in your sin, Perhaps it is time to die." When she is ferrying them she says, "This is vengance, so I am to ferry you to hell." In Japanese the translation is different. "Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness. Bringing sorrow and pain to others. Oh damned soul, wallowing in sin. Care to give death a try?" "This is vengance, so I shall ferry this greivance to hell." Some have also translated it as "O pitiful soul bound in darkness, looking down upon people, and causing them pain... A soul drowned in sinful karma Want to try dieing this once? This revenge will ferry you to Hell."
