The Chief of the Yamacraw Indians was Tomochichi who met James Edward Oglethorpe( The founder of the Georgia colony) and half-creek translator Mary Musgrove in 1733. Tomochichi was helping English until he became greatly sick. He died in his late 90's and was given a English Military funeral.
