Well, if you consider the Magic Files (kind of like Detective Conan OVA's, Magic File 3 is a background story to the first fight Shinichi and Ran had in middle school (If watched after you watch Movie 12. it makes sense), and Magic File 4 is a after story to Movie 14: Lost Ship in the Sky. But besides for that, the series doesn't have much to do with the movies, besides for the fact they have the same characters. Usually nothing in the movies is brought up in the series, and no characters introduced in the movies are ever seen in the series (besides inspector shiratori.)
