1. Some of the government leaders ( like Kenya , South Africa, Zimbabwe) were too late to implement protective measures
2. Prevalance was high as it was started here ( cause is highly debated)
3. Ignorance of people, like reusing medical equipment and high use of saloon.
4. Inability to afford antiritroviral drugs
5. Intermaritial relations without protection.
