Jacob told Bella to leave and never come back in New Moon because he had turned into a werewolf and he didn't want Bella to get hurt if he got mad and changed to close to her. It's because of what happened with Sam and Emily. Sam got mad, Emily was standing to close, and her face was permanently scared for the rest of her life. So Jacob says to leave so that she doesn't get hurt if he got angry.

In New Moon, she was just very confused, and if you read the book you'd know that Bella only thought of Jacob as a friend. And even when they were kissing (2nd time) in Eclipse, Bella only realized she was in love with him, too... but she never changed her mind on who she was going to spend the rest of her life with. Her heart was always set on the future with Edward. :] OMG TOTTALY AGREE she was never with him always with edward obviously Jacob thought other ways she was never ment to be with Jacob THANK GOD but edward was the one for her and she only loved Jacob as a friend

Jacob kissed Bella in eclipse because he loved her...also because he thought that she wanted to kiss him...Jacob also wanted to try and convince Bella that she loved him too. No. Bella and Jacob do not kiss before "Eclipse". After that, they stand there holding each other, and then Jacob begins to lean in to kiss her (which is interrupted by a phone call from Edward believing Bella is dead). She tells Jacob that Edward is her whole life, but then Jacob reminds her of when Edward left, and how Jacob was her rock and best friend. He tells her that he won't stop fighting for her, and then suddenly kisses her. After attempting to push him away, (to no avail), she becomes motionless and waits for him to stop. Once he finished, she rears back and punches him only to hurt herself.
